NATPET PP plant is using the state-of-the-art LyondellBasell licensed Spheripol technology producing a market-defined range of distinguished quality of PP resins. The plant is enjoying the sustainable advantage of producing its own high quality main raw material, Propylene, through an integrated Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) plant.

Accordingly, NATPET puts extra emphasis to keep its goodwill in the downstream market afloat through constant improvement of its operations.

Job Objective

Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment and carryout troubleshooting to in order to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Read and interpret single line diagrams, logic diagrams, block diagrams and control schematics pertaining to electrical equipment /systems.
2. Perform routine preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and trouble shooting of electrical equipment with a minimum supervision and in full compliance with safety rules and regulations.
3. Condition monitoring of all electrical equipment in a petrochemical complex and report any abnormalities observed to the concerned Engineer/Supervisor.
4. Carry out internal inspection and overhauling of electrical motors.
5. Carry out independent fault finding and rectifications in electrical circuits / systems.
6. Troubleshooting of modern protective relays, ensuring safe operation and correct relay settings/functions.
7. Carry out isolation and de-isolation of medium and low voltage switchgears.
8. To operate electrical test equipment such as High Voltage Tester, Cable Fault Locator, Megger, BDV test equipment, TTR etc.
9. Basic knowledge of SAP for handling maintenance orders and notifications, including creation, updating, and closing as per maintenance workflow.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Oil/Gas/Petrochemical Industry.
